James Anderson PMHNP-BC

James is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Mr. Anderson obtained his advanced degree from Colorado State University, Pueblo and has over 24 years of experience. He started his nursing career in 1996 as a Licensed Practical Nurse, working in a community hospital in upstate NY, subsequent to that he worked in a critical care unit for ten years.

James worked on several locked psychiatric units and has a substantial outpatient and inpatient experience working with ages 18-85. James has a passion for breaking down the stigma of mental health treatment, as well as keeping up with the latest research and treatment modalities in psychiatry. He grew up in Upstate NY on the border of Vermont. James enjoys hiking, skiing, fishing and camping with his teenage son and daughter. James also likes to volunteer at homeless shelters.

Daniel D. Hammond Jr. FMHNP

Daniel is a Board-Certified Family Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Daniel is a Denver-area based psychiatric specialist with over 13 years of experience in the field. He received a Master of Science in Nursing degree from the University of South Alabama in 2007, and is board certified with the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Mr. Hammond has experience working with a variety of populations, including child and adolescent, adult, geriatric, substance abuse, rural/community mental health, and the severely mentally ill.

Mr. Hammond has over 10 year’s experience working in telepsychiatry and believes in a collaborative approach to patient care. In 2012, he was nominated for the Florence Nightingale Award in the state of Colorado in the category of “Patient Advocacy”. He currently resides near Denver with his wife and four children, and his hobbies include writing, physical training, hiking and traveling.



Dr. Meghan Dow DNP-PMHNP

Meghan is a Board-Certified Doctor of Nursing Practice and Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Dr. Dow started her career working as a nurse in both oncology and psychiatry. She quickly found her passion for working with those suffering from mental illness and addiction. Meghan progressed her psychiatry nursing career by teaching as adjunct faculty for the University of New England, her alma mater. Eight years later she pursued her Doctorate of Nursing Practice at Rush University in Chicago. She went from small town Maine to living in the big city. While there she worked at both Northwestern Memorial Hospital and Rush Medical Center.

As a psychiatric nurse practitioner Meghan have worked with older adults both in the outpatient setting and rounding as a consultant provider for skilled nursing facilities. She has treated all psychiatric disorders from major depressive disorder to schizophrenia in both the outpatient and acute care settings. She enjoys working in addiction medicine. Meghan finds it important to be a well-rounded practitioner and this is why the populations and specific chronic illnesses she has treated have been so diverse. Special populations she truly enjoys working with include individuals with developmental delays, expecting mothers with mental illness or addiction and those suffering from concurrent eating disorders.

Andrew Nagy PMHNP-BC

Andy ia a Board-Certified Pscyhiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Mr. Nagy obtained his advanced degree from the university of Cincinnati and Florida State University. Andy has extensive experience as a nurse practitioner in a busy Emergency Department as well as outpatient Psychiatric clinic. As a psychiatric provider, Andy have worked with geriatric and adult demographics focusing on treating depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar and many other conditions. He loves to collobrate with a client's therapist to create a well-rounded support program.

Much of Andy's free time is spent with his family, hiking in the mountains of Colorado.
